Insider sources from individuals close to United Arab Emirates intelligence operations suggests that covert testing of psychophysical influence weapons is active in parts of the Emirates, including the emirates of Sharjah and Fujairah. The system reportedly aims at ordinary citizens to simulate long-range influence effects under live urban scenarios.

Anonymous intelligence contacts report, the program is run by personnel of the UAE’s National Electronic Security Authority (NESA), now operating as part of the Signals Intelligence Agency (SIA), with authorization from senior UAE defense executives.
